GLUCOSE DATA
Training with blood glucose data
Short answer
PAFGYM's blood sugar data training is a 1:1 exercise and lifestyle management program in which you wear a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) for about 10 days and review the records collected in Kakao Healthcare's PASTA app with your trainer to adjust your eating, exercise, and sleep habits. Meal order, after-meal walks, and workout timing and intensity are set by watching how your own body responds. This is not a medical service; please consult your medical team about any care related to blood sugar.

How did blood glucose data training begin?
In November 2024, PAFGYM trainers, including executives, received two training sessions on the PASTA app at Kakao Healthcare's headquarters and wore a CGM themselves for 10 days. Before recommending it to members, the trainers first read the data on their own bodies.
We then launched the 1:1 blood sugar management program on February 27, 2025, and in March 2025 presented cases from these sessions to the industry with Kakao Healthcare at a fitness convention. In January 2026, we signed a business agreement with Kakao Healthcare.
What do we look at over the 10 days?
A CGM is a coin-sized device worn on the back of the upper arm or on the abdomen for about 10 days. It connects to the PASTA app via Bluetooth and can be worn while showering and swimming. The app records data every 5 minutes, and the trainer reviews the following with you.
- How much your levels rise after which meals
- How meal times and calories are divided across the day
- The difference between days you trained and days you rested, nights you slept well and nights you did not
- An AGP report that brings 7 days of trends onto one page
What changes after reviewing the records?
Data makes your homework concrete. Methods PAFGYM trainers actually try with members include eating in the order of vegetables, protein, then carbohydrates; packed lunches with more fiber; moderating alcohol and late-night snacks; walking for 10–20 minutes after meals; and adjusting the intensity and timing of exercise.
The important thing is that the same method works differently for different people. So rather than simply following general advice, we change one thing at a time while checking what changes show up in your own records. At the end, you receive a report comparing the first 3 days and the last 3 days. Results vary by individual.
What is the process?
The whole process has five steps. If you wish, you can prepare a new sensor after the period ends and go through it once more.
- Consultation: hearing about your daily routine, eating habits, exercise history, and health
- Attachment: putting on the CGM and connecting the PASTA app
- Observe: about 10 days of records across meals, exercise and sleep
- Adjust: work with your trainer to try changing meal order, post-meal activity, and workout timing and intensity
- Report: comparing the first 3 days and the last 3 days
Is this program a medical service?
No. PAFGYM only reviews the records with you and coaches exercise and eating habits; we make no medical judgments based on the numbers. If you are being treated for diabetes or taking medication, please talk to your doctor before starting. Follow the product instructions for using the device. Please check which studios offer the program and the current schedule in a studio consultation.
